Job Summary
Open and close the store, assist in unloading delivery trucks, and organize merchandise from the stockroom to the sales floor. Maintain product rotation, ensure proper food handling, and verify product quality during receiving. Provide exceptional customer service, build relationships, and solve problems while handling cash, making bank deposits, and managing register counts. Supervise sales associates, develop leadership skills, and train the team on assigned duties. This role requires a valid driver's license, 1-2 years of retail experience, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Candidates must work flexible full-time schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays, with potential non-working hour alarm calls.
Required Qualifications
- 1-2 years of retail experience with progressively increasing responsibility
- valid drivers license
- Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs with frequent lifting above shoulder height
- Ability to work flexible, full-time schedule to include days, evenings, weekends and holidays
- Ability to safely operate power equipment
- Minimum of 18 years old
- High School Diploma / Equivalent
- Successfully pass our pre-employment checks, including a drug screen and criminal background check
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to occasionally respond to alarm calls during non-working hours
- Flexibility to work shifts at other stores in your local geographic area
