Job Summary
As a Food Clerk at Meijer (Rockford, MI), provide customers with exceptional product knowledge and friendly, efficient service while supporting store operations across departments (Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Grocery). Responsibilities include building rapport with customers, answering questions effectively, stocking and merchandising products, maintaining displays to standards, utilizing technology to complete tasks, and following safety/sanitation procedures to ensure quality service. The role emphasizes a customer-focused, collaborative environment with potential for development and career growth within a family-oriented retailer. Core hours are mornings (4a-12p) with part-time schedules (20-36 hours/week) and weekend availability.
Required Qualifications
- Forklift experience preferred
- Weekend availability
