Grocery Department Lead

Lead the Grocery Department by directing operations, planning, and coaching team members to deliver exceptional customer experience. Manage scheduling, training, merchandising, inventory, and compliance with food safety standards. Empower and mentor staff to meet customer service and sales goals, while upholding Meijer standards and culture. Oversee daily tasks such as checkout operations, product display, receiving/stocking, and collaboration with leadership to improve store performance and profitability; promote diversity, equity, and inclusion and participate in period end inventories as required.
