Job Summary
Greet, assist, and thank customers in a prompt, courteous, and friendly manner while stocking merchandise on shelves and displays throughout the department. Receive and unload deliveries, check for accuracy, and store product in designated areas, ensuring all items are rotated and fresh using a first-in, first-out method. Clean shelves as they are restocked, fill and build displays, and maintain proper sanitation procedures. Monitor cooler and display area temperatures, report refrigeration failures immediately, and notify the manager of shrink problems, out-of-stock items, or security issues. Perform price changes, return overstock to the stockroom, and assist with bagging at busy times. Successfully complete onboarding and e-learnings within 30 days of hire. Work a schedule based on business needs of the store location in a team-oriented environment.
Required Qualifications
- 16 years of age
- Complete training in the grocery operation
- Ability to prioritize work load and have sense of urgency
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English, with the ability to follow instructions
- Ability to work a scheduled based on the business needs of the store location
- Authorized to work within the U.S.
- 18 years of age to use compactor
