Job Summary
Greet, assist, and thank customers in a prompt, courteous manner while stocking merchandise on shelves and displays to ensure all product is fresh, rotated, and well-stocked. Receive and unload deliveries, check for accuracy, and store product in designated areas, keeping items rotated according to code dates using the first-in, first-out method. Clean shelves as restocked, fill and build displays, and maintain proper sanitation procedures while monitoring cooler and display temperatures. Notify the manager of potential shrink problems, out-of-stock items, or customer complaints, and perform price changes when necessary. Assist with front-end bagging during busy times and complete onboarding e-learnings within 30 days of hire.
Required Qualifications
- 16 years of age
- Complete training in the grocery operation
- Ability to prioritize work load and have sense of urgency
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English, with the ability to follow instructions
- Ability to work a scheduled based on the business needs of the store location
- Authorized to work within the U.S.
- 18 years of age to use compactor
