Job Summary
Unpack, stock, and face products in the grocery department while assisting with front-end bagging and transporting items to customers. Perform duties to ensure all grocery items are properly displayed and provide customer support when called. Operate department equipment including carts, baler, ladder, box cutter, and non-power pallet jacks safely and efficiently. Meet productivity standards, follow standard operating procedures, and maintain quality and safety requirements. Requires experience in customer service and retail environments with the ability to work flexible shifts, overtime, and weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working in customer service, preferably a retail/grocery environment
- Able to perform front end duties, practices and procedures within a retail/grocery environment
- Be self-directed, results oriented, project a positive business image and lead by example
- Good attention to detail and follow through skills
- Good customer relations' skills
- Meet department productivity, policy, standard operating procedures, quality and safety requirements
- Works efficiently with weights, measures, scales and tally unit product retail prices
- Operate department equipment in a safe and efficient manner
- Must be 18 years of age to operate certain department equipment
- Work hours required. This includes flexible shift schedules, overtime and weekends required
