Job Summary
Unpack, stock, and face products in the grocery department while assisting with front-end bagging and transporting items to customers. Perform duties ensuring grocery items are properly displayed and providing customer support when called. Operate department equipment including carts, pallet jacks, and scales safely and efficiently. Maintain positive business image and meet productivity, safety, and standard operating procedure requirements. Requires flexible shift schedules, overtime, and weekend availability. Must be 18 years of age to operate certain equipment.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working in customer service, preferably a retail/grocery environment
- Able to perform front end duties, practices and procedures within a retail/grocery environment
- Be self-directed, results oriented, project a positive business image and lead by example
- Good attention to detail and follow through skills
- Good customer relations' skills
- Meet department productivity, policy, standard operating procedures, quality and safety requirements
- Works efficiently with weights, measures, scales and tally unit product retail prices
- Operate department equipment in a safe and efficient manner
- Must be 18 years of age to operate certain department equipment
- Work hours required. This includes flexible shift schedules, overtime and weekends required
- Meet Physical Requirements
- Proficient skill in operation of carts, baler, ladder, box cutter, non-power pallet jacks
