Job Summary
Stock and display grocery aisles, ensuring products are fresh, properly rotated, and fully stocked by designated times. Provide helpful guest service by greeting shoppers, answering questions, and assisting with product location. Unload deliveries, organize stock, and maintain accurate inventory levels while keeping the department clean and sanitized. Operate equipment such as power jacks and forklifts under training, and address guest concerns with professionalism. Work part-time shifts including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays across Wisconsin supermarkets.
Required Qualifications
- A helpful attitude and a commitment to excellent guest service
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Awareness of safety requirements and policies, including proper lifting techniques and box cutter safety
- Ability to operate equipment such as power jacks, fork lift, walk-behind lifts, balers, and compactors
- Ability to stand in place for long periods of time
- Ability to work in a cooler
- Ability to walk in the store
- Ability to bend, stoop and kneel regularly
- Full range of upper body motion in order to lift product
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks for prolonged periods of time
- Functional sensory abilities in order to visually monitor the store
- Ability to create attractive displays
- Ability to operate equipment
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds on an occasional basis
- Regular, timely attendance in compliance with the work schedule
- Adequate notice to find a replacement for occasional absences
