Job Summary
The Grocery Clerk is responsible for receiving, breaking down, stocking, rotating, merchandising, and ensuring presentation perfection in the Grocery Department. Key responsibilities include unloading merchandise, transporting stock to storage, and maintaining well-stocked shelves according to store schematics. The role involves assisting in building store displays, rotating perishable items, managing damaged goods, and adhering to company dress code and policies. Required Qualifications
- Ability to assist in unloading merchandise
- High efficiency in stocking merchandise to shelf
- Ability to keep store shelves fully stocked according to shelf tag-location-schematic
- Skill in building store displays
- Knowledge in rotating perishable merchandise and pulling out-of-date product
- Ability to control level of damaged goods
- Attention to detail in presenting assigned section properly
- Observant and friendly towards customers
- Must maintain a neat appearance according to company dress code
- Familiarity with company policies stated in the Employee Handbook
