Job Summary
Maintain exceptional customer service while cleaning the entire sales floor by sweeping, running machines, and buffing surfaces to ensure floor shine. Spot wax damaged areas, keep restrooms, back rooms, and sidewalks clean, and organize janitorial storage. Check refrigeration temperatures and maintain logs, occasionally walk the store to verify door security, and report maintenance issues to the Store Director. Lift 50 lb. boxes and exert frequent force while working on floors that may become slippery. Requires good vision, hearing, and ability to stand, kneel, and reach. Comply with all company policies, dress code, and name tag requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to lift 50 lb. boxes on occasion and/or exert 25-50 lbs. of force frequently and/or 10-20 lbs. of force constantly while moving and handling materials and products.
- Must have dexterous use of both hands.
- Must be able to stand and move about to various workstations.
- Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull items so that objects move toward areas of use.
- Must be able to use knives and other sharp instruments utilized in the preparations of food items and/or removing products from boxes.
- Good, corrected vision.
- Good, corrected hearing.
- Ability to stoop.
- Ability to kneel.
- Ability to work on floors that sometimes become slippery.
