Job Summary
Conduct full-store sanitation duties including sweeping, machine buffing, and spot-waxing sales floors to maintain shine. Maintain clean restrooms, back rooms, and sidewalks as requested, while organizing janitorial storage and checking refrigeration temperatures with daily logs. Walk the store to ensure doors are locked and secure, communicating any maintenance issues directly to the Store Director. Lift 50 lb. boxes and exert force frequently while complying with all company policies, dress codes, and name tag requirements. This entry-level role supports Pyramid Foods' commitment to quality service in a friendly, flexible environment.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to lift 50 lb. boxes on occasion
- Must be able to exert 25-50 lbs. of force frequently
- Must be able to exert 10-20 lbs. of force constantly
- Must have dexterous use of both hands
- Must be able to stand and move about to various workstations
- Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull items
- Must be able to use knives and other sharp instruments
- Good, corrected vision
- Good, corrected hearing
- Ability to stoop
- Ability to kneel
- Ability to reach
- Ability to work on floors that sometimes become slippery
