Job Summary
Maintain exceptional customer service by sweeping, running machines, and buffing the entire sales floor to ensure a clean, shiny environment. Spot wax damaged areas, keep restrooms, back rooms, and sidewalks sanitized, and organize all janitorial storage. Monitor refrigeration temperatures by keeping detailed logs and occasionally verify that store doors are locked and secure. Communicate any maintenance issues directly to the Store Director, Assistant Store Director, or Grocery Manager while complying with all company policies, dress codes, and name tag requirements. This medium-physical role requires the ability to lift 50 lb. boxes, exert significant force, and work on floors that may become slippery.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to lift 50 lb. boxes on occasion
- Must be able to exert 25-50 lbs. of force frequently
- Must be able to exert 10-20 lbs. of force constantly
- Must have dexterous use of both hands
- Must be able to stand and move about to various workstations
- Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull items
- Must be able to use knives and other sharp instruments
- Must have good, corrected vision
- Must have hearing
- Must be able to stoop
- Must be able to kneel
- Must be able to reach
- Must be able to work on floors that sometimes become slippery
