Job Summary
Maintain exceptional customer service and sanitation for the entire store, including sweeping, buffing sales floors, spot-waxing damaged areas, and keeping restrooms, back rooms, and sidewalks clean. Check refrigeration temperatures, log data, and ensure doors are locked and secure by occasionally walking the store. Organize janitorial storage and communicate any maintenance issues to the Store Director while complying with all company policies, dress codes, and safety requirements. This role requires good vision, hearing, and the ability to lift 50 lb. boxes and exert significant force. Pyramid Foods supports local communities by providing quality food and service in a friendly, flexible environment.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to lift 50 lb. boxes on occasion
- Must be able to exert 25-50 lbs. of force frequently
- Must be able to exert 10-20 lbs. of force constantly
- Must have dexterous use of both hands
- Must be able to stand and move about to various workstations
- Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull items
- Must be able to use knives and other sharp instruments utilized in the preparations of food items and/or removing products from boxes
- Good, corrected vision
- Good, corrected hearing
- Ability to stoop
- Ability to kneel
- Ability to reach
- Ability to work on floors that sometimes become slippery
