Job Summary
Maintain exceptional customer service by sweeping, buffing, and spot-waxing the sales floor to ensure a clean, shiny environment. Keep restrooms, back rooms, and sidewalks sanitized as requested, while organizing janitorial storage and checking refrigeration temperatures daily. Communicate any maintenance issues immediately to the Store Director and comply with all company policies, including dress code and name tag requirements. Occasionally verify that store doors are locked and secure. This medium physical role requires lifting 50 lb. boxes, standing for extended periods, and working on floors that may become slippery.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to lift 50 lb. boxes on occasion
- Must be able to exert 25-50 lbs. of force frequently
- Must be able to exert 10-20 lbs. of force constantly
- Must have dexterous use of both hands
- Must be able to stand and move about to various workstations
- Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull items
- Must be able to use knives and other sharp instruments
- Good, corrected vision
- Good, corrected hearing
- Ability to stoop
- Ability to kneel
- Ability to reach
- Ability to work on floors that sometimes become slippery
