Job Summary
Sweep, buff, and spot-wax the sales floor to maintain shine and address damaged areas. Clean restrooms, back rooms, and sidewalks as requested, while organizing janitorial storage and checking refrigeration temperatures daily. Walk the store to verify doors are locked and secure, and communicate any maintenance issues directly to the Store Director. Log all temperature checks and comply with company policies, including dress code and name tag requirements. This medium-physical role requires lifting 50 lb. boxes and handling sharp instruments on floors that may become slippery.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to lift 50 lb. boxes on occasion
- Must be able to exert 25-50 lbs. of force frequently
- Must be able to exert 10-20 lbs. of force constantly
- Must have dexterous use of both hands
- Must be able to stand and move about to various workstations
- Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull items
- Must be able to use knives and other sharp instruments
- Must have good, corrected vision
- Must have hearing
- Must have the ability to stoop
- Must have the ability to kneel
- Must have the ability to reach
- Must have the ability to work on floors that sometimes become slippery
- Must comply with all company policies
- Must wear name tag
