Job Summary
Oversee daily grocery department operations by directing stock crews on inventory control, ordering, and shelving conditions. Provide exceptional service to clientele while managing pricing integrity and maintaining clean backroom and frozen departments. Train and develop employees, schedule department staff, and resolve conflicts to ensure a disciplined work environment. Ensure compliance with all company policies, government regulations, and dress standards. Maintain accurate records and stay updated on updated policies and training procedures. Requires ability to lift 60 lb. boxes and work on floors that sometimes become slippery.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to lift 60 lb. boxes on occasion
- Must be able to exert 25-60 lbs. of force frequently
- Must be able to exert 10/20 lbs. of force constantly
- Must have dexterous use of both hands
- Must be able to stand and move about to various workstations
- Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull items
- Must be able to use knives and other sharp instruments
- Must have good, corrected vision
- Must have good, corrected hearing
- Must have the ability to work on floors that sometimes become slippery
