Job Summary
Direct grocery department operations by managing stock crews, overseeing inventory control, and ensuring all shelving and backroom conditions remain compliant. Lead training and scheduling for associates while maintaining pricing integrity and enforcing company policies across the team. Remove discontinued items, process new merchandise, and assist with grocery orders to keep the store well-stocked and merchandised. Provide exceptional service to clientele and resolve conflicts through critical thinking in a disciplined, non-offensive environment. Requires ability to lift 60 lb. boxes, use sharp instruments, and work on floors that may become slippery.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to lift 60 lb. boxes on occasion
- Must be able to exert 25-60 lbs. of force frequently
- Must be able to exert 10/20 lbs. of force constantly
- Must have dexterous use of both hands
- Must be able to stand and move about to various workstations
- Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull items
- Must be able to use knives and other sharp instruments
- Must have good, corrected vision
- Must have good, corrected hearing
- Must have the ability to stoop
- Must have the ability to kneel
- Must have the ability to reach
- Must have the ability to push
- Must have the ability to pull
- Must be able to work on floors that sometimes become slippery
