Job Summary
Grinding and lapping technology applied in production; support for optimization of production machines and development of new machinery; design of tools and equipment for grinding and lapping; responsibility for cost-reduction projects related to tooling and processes; industrialization of new products for production start-up; continuous improvement of the grinding and lapping process in terms of OEE, setup time, machine efficiency, and ergonomics; monitoring and analysis of production data to optimize processes and reduce manufacturing costs; pre-acceptance and acceptance testing of new machines; development of setup plans.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 2–3 years of experience in a metalworking/manufacturing environment
- Experience with machining / material removal processes is a plus
