Job Summary
Operates grinder equipment to grind ingredients used in food products; maintains a safe work environment and adheres to Tyson policies. Role requires standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 pounds, climbing stairs and ladders up to 60 feet, bending, reaching, and working in extreme hot/cold/odorous conditions. May perform other duties; may operate frontend loader or forklift with certification. Reads and completes required logs; communicates via two-way radio. Shift: D Shift (Night). Requires ability to perform physical requirements with/without accommodation and to work as part of a production team in a food-manufacturing environment.
Required Qualifications
- Must have no more than 6 attendance points and no disciplinary action within the past 6 months
- Must have completed 90-day probationary period
- Must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
- Must be able to read and complete required logs
- Must be able to use basic hand tools and perform basic mechanical and maintenance functions
- May be required to operate frontend loader or forklift and will be required to obtain certification to do so
- Must be able to communicate with supervisor and co-workers via two-way radio
