Job Summary
Grinder Operator is an entry-level role in the Extrusion department at Dura-Line (Orbia). You will operate and maintain grinding equipment to regrind scrap conduit and ensure it’s suitable for reinsertion into production, monitor product and equipment parameters to meet quality requirements, perform minor repairs and document ground product dimensions/weights, coordinate tooling changes, assist with scrap-material separation, and maintain a safe, clean workspace. The role includes day or night shifts on a 2-2-3 schedule, sign-on bonuses, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for growth within the Orbia family.
Required Qualifications
- Entry-level manufacturing experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work indoors on plant floor with heat, dust, and noise
- Safety gear and PPE required (gloves, eye protection, steel toe boots, dust mask, earplugs, hard hats, face shields)
