Job Summary
Grinder needed to safely operate a surface grinder to remove flash and excess material from aluminum forged parts to blueprint specifications and shop order instructions. Responsibilities include inspecting parts by sight and touch, following forging process and work orders, maintaining accurate part counts, ensuring quality and production requirements are met, and performing other duties as assigned. On-the-job training is provided. Must comply with safety, PPE, and ITAR regulations; ability to work overtime and handle parts up to 30 lbs (with assistance as needed). Required Qualifications
- US Citizen or US Person per ITAR regulations
- English proficiency (reading, writing, and verbal comprehension)
- Ability to work in a drug-free workplace
- Must be able to operate and safety-handle grinding equipment
- Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs and move more with assistance/equipment
- Ability to apply up to 50 lbs hand-to-part force during machining
- On-the-job training provided
- Ability to work overtime to meet deadlines
