Job Summary
Prepare and plate dishes across all stations, uphold sanitation and food safety procedures, prep ingredients using skill with knives and prep lists, learn recipes, plate according to recipe and presentation, read tickets quickly, and work in a fast-paced kitchen with strong teamwork and clear communication.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 years kitchen experience specifically cooking on the line
- An ability to execute dishes quickly and efficiently while maintaining consistency and high level of attention to detail and quality
- Experience on all stations
- Ability to multi-task and maintain grace under fire and work well in a fast paced environment
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Specifically the ability to read tickets quickly and prioritize and time food accordingly
- High level of energy
- A sense of urgency when needed
- Superb communication and excellent teamwork
