Job Summary
Grill Cook needed at Zingaro Italian Restaurant. Key duties include preparing and setting up grill station, grilling meats, poultry, seafood, and vegetables to order, seasoning and finishing dishes per standards, monitoring grill temperatures and maintaining a clean, sanitary workstation. Assist with daily prep, menu specials, inventory management, and closing duties. Must thrive in a fast-paced kitchen, work well with others, and bring a positive team attitude. Open availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays. Food Handler’s Certification is required (or obtainable after hire).
Required Qualifications
- Food Handler’s Certification required (or must be obtained after hire).
- Open availability — evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Previous grilling/cooking experience preferred but training available.
- Strong understanding of grilling techniques and kitchen safety.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a busy shift.
- Great communication and teamwork skills.
- Lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
