Job Summary

Provide grief counseling, crisis intervention, and psychoeducation to individuals and families before and after a hospice patient's death, including risk assessments and follow-up services. Facilitate school-based support groups, youth bereavement programs, and community workshops while delivering educational presentations to healthcare partners. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams during care planning meetings and offer clinical consultation to staff and volunteers. Maintain accurate documentation, attend supervision, and participate in quality improvement initiatives. This role requires approximately 25%–50% travel throughout Leon County and surrounding areas, with occasional evening or weekend hours. The position is located in the Bay County area.

Required Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Music Therapy, Art Therapy, or a related field
  • Experience counseling youth
  • Minimum of two (2) years of clinical counseling experience
  • Valid driver's license
  • Current auto insurance
  • Reliable transportation
  • Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Occasional evening and weekend hours
  • Approximately 25%–50% travel throughout Leon County and surrounding counties
