Grid Production Supervisor 2nd shift

Job Summary
Lead and supervise a production team of up to 30 employees to safely achieve production, quality, and efficiency goals for Grid products. Schedule and coordinate daily activities to meet customer demand, while coaching, training, and evaluating team members on performance and hiring support. Monitor production plans and downtime using SAP to identify process improvements and apply Lean manufacturing principles. Ensure compliance with safety standards by conducting accident investigations and maintaining a safe work environment. Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and shipping departments to resolve operational issues and maintain accurate production records. This role supports plant operations including facility opening and closing, with a Monday–Thursday shift from 2:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m.
Required Qualifications
- 2–5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or production environment
- Experience leading production teams, including scheduling, performance management, and coaching
- Knowledge of production operations, workplace safety, and continuous improvement practices
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 2:00 p.m. – 1:00 a.m.
- Based in Chicago Factory
Desired Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in a related field
- Experience with SAP or other ERP/MES systems
