Job Summary
Grid Operations Engineer I or II sought to support modeling activities within Distribution SCADA and ADMS applications enabling real-time monitoring, analysis, and control of the electric distribution grid for Distribution Control Center operations. Role involves solving defined engineering problems, developing and extending scripts, interacting with SQL databases and XML, and contributing to modeling, data integration, and system functionality across SCADA/ADMS environments. Requires fundamentals of electric distribution network concepts, ability to collaborate with modeling, operations, ID, and engineering teams, and strong written/verbal communication. Hybrid work arrangement after onboarding with potential field-site visits; relocation assistance provided as applicable.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an ABET-accredited program (Electrical Engineering preferred).
- Master's degree considered in lieu of BS.
- Ability to develop and maintain scripts (e.g., Python, PowerShell, PERL, C#).
- Experience with SQL databases and processing structured data (XML).
- Understanding of electric distribution networks.
