Job Summary
Lead assessment of grid connection options for renewable energy projects during early-stage development and due diligence. Manage review and preparation of grid connection applications, permits, and studies while serving as primary contact for utility companies, grid operators, and regulatory agencies. Negotiate connection conditions, terms, and cost-sharing agreements with transmission and distribution system operators. Monitor project timelines, identify bottlenecks, and provide techno-commercial opinions on feasibility and curtailment levels. Support EPC and HV engineering teams through design, energization, and commissioning phases by ensuring compliance with technical and regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, renewable energy, or another relevant field
- Experience in project development, grid connection management, project management, and/or electrical engineering, with a focus on renewable energy projects
- Demonstrated deep understanding of grid connection processes, regulations, standards, and grid codes in Romania

- Master's degree
- Demonstrated deep understanding of grid connection processes, regulations, standards, and grid codes in other markets
- Fluent in English and Romanian, both written and spoken
