Job Summary
Greet all customers as they enter the store in a friendly and outgoing manner, handling merchandise with care and providing information and direction. Actively promote programs including CLUB Membership, VOC, and In-Store Pickup while modeling brand standards with a visible name badge and appropriate dress code. Check in customers' merchandise for returns, verify Vendor representatives against the visitor log, and inform guests of special events and promotions. Ensure the entryway remains clean, tidy, and safe, and assist in firearm check-ins by notifying trained Outfitters. Maintain a professional image with a smile and welcoming body language while distributing promotional materials. Starting pay is $14.00 - $16.75 for part-time hours.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Excellent organization skills and attention to details
- Experience in a customer service environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Adaptability to new processes and procedures
- Excellent self-motivation and initiative while unsupervised
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to lift objects up to 20 pounds
- Must be able to move and lift objects up to 100 pounds or more (utilizing a team lift as needed)
- Must be able to work in low or high temperatures
- Must be able to work in outdoor elements such as precipitation and wind
- Must be able to work in noisy environments
- Must be able to walk and stand regularly
- Must be able to occasionally perform computer work
- Must be able to constantly communicate with others to exchange information
- Must be able to constantly repeat motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers
- Must be able to perform tasks and duties under general supervision, using established procedures and innovation
- Must be able to choose from limited alternatives to resolve problems
- Must be able to make recommendations to work procedures, policies, and practices
