Job Summary
Greeter position responsible for delivering an outstanding first impression in a Bass Pro Shops / Cabela's environment. Duties include greeting customers, distributing promotional materials, promoting programs (CLUB Membership, VOC, In-Store Pickup), maintaining a professional image per dress code, handling merchandise checks, logging visitors, and assisting with events and promotions. Will assist with the guest check-in process for firearms/weapons by coordinating with trained Outfitters (Greeters themselves do not handle firearms). Requires friendly, outgoing demeanor, strong communication, organization, and the ability to work in a retail setting with occasional lifting up to 50 pounds. Part-time role offering employee discounts, benefits, and equal opportunity employment.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Experience in a customer service environment
- Excellent organization skills and attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Adaptability to new processes and procedures
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Travel: N/A
- Physical requirements: able to stand/walk, lift up to 50 pounds
- Team-oriented and can provide great guest experience
