Job Summary
Greeter position for Kent County Board of Elections in Maryland. Responsibilities include answering voter questions about the general election, voting procedures, and polling locations; maintaining a friendly, positive attitude while assisting the public; supporting election staff and completing tasks as directed by LBE management or Chief Judges; monitoring polling areas to help maintain a secure environment and reporting issues to Chief Judges and Local Board of Elections. Schedule offers part-time or full-time opportunities, with Early Voting shifts up to 8 hours and Election Day shifts up to 15 hours. Training on June 16, with work dates starting June 23; assignments may involve traveling within Maryland and supporting multiple LBEs as needed. Requires strong communication, customer service, professionalism, and teamwork under a fast-paced environment.
