Job Summary
Monitor table settings by removing dishes, replenishing drinks and utensils, and resetting tables after guests depart. Prepare the dining room by cleaning surfaces, setting decorations, condiments, candles, napkins, service plates, and utensils. Greet guests and answer questions in a friendly manner while collaborating with servers, bartenders, and management to ensure smooth operations. Maintain a professional appearance and demonstrate excellent customer service skills throughout your shift.
Required Qualifications
- prior food service experience, preferably in a fine dining establishment
- Food Handler's Card
- O.L.C. Permit
- professional appearance
- excellent customer service skills
- ability to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language of the work location
- ability to stand for long periods of time
