Job Summary
Welcome incoming guests by opening the door and ensuring timely seating, while accurately communicating waiting times and escorting them to tables. Manage the seating waitlist, monitor workflow to balance server loads, and notify guests of specials and promotions. Assist with assembling takeout orders, answer telephones, and help run food, buss tables, and refill drinks without serving alcohol. Maintain host station cleanliness, stock menus, and restock supplies. Respond to customer complaints and thank departing guests while soliciting feedback. Prioritize time management, attention to detail, and conflict resolution to uphold BWW brand standards.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 16 years of age
- Superior customer service and hospitality skills
- Knowledgeable of proper sanitation, food safety, and security procedures
- Knowledgeable of BWW food and beverage menus
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Skill in time management and organization
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to take direction and execute team and company objectives
- Basic mathematical skills
- Ability to handle money accurately
- Ability to process credit card transactions
- Basic knowledge of Point of Sales systems
- Conflict management skills
- Analytical skills
- High degree of emotional intelligence
- Strong knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in restaurant environment
