Job Summary
Welcome incoming guests by opening the door and ensuring timely seating while accurately communicating waiting times and escorting them to tables. Manage the seating waitlist, notify guests of specials and promotions, and assist with assembling takeout orders and answering telephones. Bus and pre-bus tables, deliver food, refill drinks, and maintain cleanliness and organization of the host station. Respond to customer complaints, thank departing guests, and solicit feedback on service quality. This role requires superior customer service skills, knowledge of BWW menus and promotions, and proficiency in Point of Sales systems. Minimum age is 16 years.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 16 years of age
- Superior customer service and hospitality skills
- Knowledgeable of proper sanitation, food safety, and security procedures
- Knowledgeable of BWW food and beverage menus
- Knowledgeable of current marketing promotions and up-coming events
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Skill in time management and organization
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to take direction and execute team and company objectives
- Basic mathematical skills with ability to handle money accurately
- Basic knowledge of Point of Sales systems

- High degree of emotional intelligence
- Strong knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in restaurant environment
