Job Summary
Independent Contractor Roof Field Inspector needed to assess properties on steep/high roofs and evaluate exterior/interior damage, including underwriting property inspections. Work within Hancock Claims Consultants’ nationwide network to support claims management and catastrophe response. Must have a reliable vehicle and the ability to transport a 32’ ladder, plus a Lidar device; include proficiency with MS Office (Outlook/Teams). HAAG Certification is a plus. Responsibilities emphasize inspecting roofs, documenting damage, providing customer service with empathy, and maintaining an entrepreneurial contractor mindset. Roofing/construction experience or insurance claims experience is a plus but not required.
Required Qualifications
- Reliable vehicle (Truck, Van, or SUV)
- Ability to transport and carry at least a 32’ ladder
- Lidar equipment device or ability to obtain one
- Demonstrated knowledge of MS Office (Outlook and Teams)
- Ability to obtain any required certifications to join contractor pool
