Job Summary
Maintain clean work areas and mow greens, approaches, fairways, rough, tees, and other course sections. Water tees, greens, and fairways while operating irrigation heads in dry areas, and repair irrigation systems, pipes, and heads as needed. Grade soil bases, lay sod, and seed greens, tees, and fairways; trim hedges, prune shrubbery, and clean flower beds. Apply pesticides and fertilizer to the golf course. Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor or manager. Pay ranges from $16.90 to $18.90 per hour. This full-time role with Shadow Hills Golf Club in Indio, CA, offers healthcare, dental, vision, 401(k) match, and PTO. Required Qualifications
- Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Must be highly organized, efficient, and detail-oriented
- Must possess the ability to design, coordinate, and maintain landscaping on the golf course
- Must possess the ability to operate all tools and equipment related to golf course maintenance
- Skilled in seeding, fertilizing, mulching, and general ground preparation for restoration and renovation
- Must be dependable
