Job Summary
Greenskeeper I at Yorba Linda Country Club contributes to golf course maintenance and landscape upkeep. Responsibilities include performing general landscape maintenance with handheld equipment, raking and maintaining sand bunkers, operating small machinery for edging, trimming and mowing, preparing soil beds for sod, seed, and vegetative material, assisting with course detail including weed and debris clean-up, helping with golf course set-up, operating utility vehicles for hauling materials and debris, and performing pruning/plugging as needed. Safe work practices are expected, with occasional heavy lifting up to 50 pounds and frequent outdoor work in varied conditions. The role is full-time and located on-site in Yorba Linda, CA, under Troon, a global leader in golf and hospitality management.
Required Qualifications
- Less than high school education; or up to one-month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Valid Driver’s License
- Ability to read and speak English may be required in order to perform the duties of the job (e.g. the manuals for the equipment the associates may use are in English)
