Greenkeeper - Golf Course Maintenance

Job Summary
Perform daily golf course maintenance including mowing, trimming, shoveling, raking, watering, changing pins, and cleaning pathways. Assist with setup and upkeep of course features like tee markers, flags, and bunkers while safely operating hand and power tools. Complete physically demanding tasks involving lifting up to 50 lbs, walking 5–8 kilometers daily, and working in varying weather conditions. Carry out general labour duties to maintain clean, organized work and storage areas while following all safety guidelines and operational standards. Work independently and collaboratively within the Greens Operations team on a seasonal basis from mid-August to November, reporting to Assistant and Head Superintendents.
Required Qualifications
- Work permit/visa/ ability to work in Canada
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks
- Ability to commute to Number 4 road and Steveston Hwy Richmond BC
- Ability to learn new tasks and skills efficiently
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to form effective relationships with members of the team
- Must have the ability to perform physically demanding tasks
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Ability to commute to Number 4 road and Steveston Hwy Richmond BC
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Must be available for early morning shifts (as early as 5:00/ 6:00 a.m.)
- Must be available for weekends
- Must be available for holidays
Desired Qualifications
- Previous working knowledge of landscaping skills or jobs of a similar nature
- Previous experience in golf course maintenance, landscaping, or farming
- Ability to learn new tasks and skills efficiently
