Job Summary
Prep decorative boughs and accents at a cutting table or insert elements into finished planters on a conveyor assembly line. Hand-water plants, stage them onto carts, and move and space plants for optimal growing while completing cleaning and organizational projects. Work safely adjacent to moving conveyor belt equipment, adhering to safety protocols including wearing appropriate footwear. Lift and move objects weighing up to 25 pounds and perform repetitive motions for trimming and planting. Schedule runs from 7:30am to 4:00pm, Monday through Friday, extending to 5:00pm in November, with weekend availability during peak season.
Required Qualifications
- At least 16 years of age
- Ability to perform repetitive motions for trimming and planting
- Ability to work safely adjacent to moving conveyor belt equipment
- Ability to remain in a stationary position or move about the greenhouse for the duration of a shift
- Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 25 pounds
- Adherence to safety protocols, including wearing appropriate footwear and securing loose hair/clothing around machinery
