Job Summary
Production Assistant responsibilities include packing containers of fresh produce, sorting and selecting high-quality product, discarding unacceptable items, filling containers to accurate weights using scales, labeling/boxing/staging materials, assisting with inventory control and cold storage, and supporting GMP/GAP/SSOP sanitation. The role involves assisting with transplanting seedlings and harvesting in a greenhouse environment, handling growing equipment, and performing repetitive tasks at a steady pace in varying temperatures (55–90°F). Strong attention to detail, reliable transportation, and open availability for diverse schedules are required.
