Greenhouse Production Assistant

Operate seeding machines, transplant seedlings to quality standards, and identify or cull plants affected by pests or disease. Harvest mature plants, move and rearrange growing equipment, and assist with loading/unloading greenhouse materials. Compost unused plants and perform daily cleaning of production areas, equipment, supplies, and common facility zones. Adhere strictly to Good Manufacturing Practices, Good Agricultural Practices, food safety policies, employee safety policies, and Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures. Additional duties as assigned. This hands-on role supports Gotham Greens' mission to transform fresh produce growth through urban indoor agriculture, delivering leafy greens, herbs, salad dressings, and pesto to retail and foodservice customers nationwide.
