Job Summary
Greenhouse Farm Worker handles planting, growing flowers, trees, shrubbery and other plants from seeds through cultivation to preparation for sale. Responsibilities include planting crops, thinning, weeding, watering, harvesting, transplanting or potting and labeling plants. The role requires working outdoors in varying environmental conditions, collaborating with supervision and teammates, and occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs. The position supports flexible shifts including extra hours and weekends during peak season. Training on pallet jack operation and ladder use is provided. Drug screening, background check, and E-Verify are part of the onboarding process. Equal opportunity employer.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to bend, twist, turn, climb, pull, lift, and carry up to 50 lbs frequently
- Able to work outdoors in varying environmental conditions
- Able to work flexible shifts including extra hours and weekends during peak season
- Access to reliable transportation
- Able to safely maneuver and operate a pallet jack
- Able to climb ladders and move between greenhouse tables 24" apart
- Able to communicate with supervisors or peers via text or in-person
- Ability to work as part of a team and/or independently
- Willingness to undergo drug screening prior to employment
- Background check and E-Verify screening are required
- Able to perform physical tasks in a fast-paced environment
