Job Summary
Conduct daily custodial duties including cleaning, equipment upkeep, and safe chemical handling. Report and record maintenance requests while utilizing excellent communication skills to interact with staff. Maintain CPR, AED, and First Aid certifications and complete required safety trainings within 90 days. Work part-time on 1-2 weekdays with weekend availability at a rate of $16.00/hour. Required Qualifications
- Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents
- Ability to report and record maintenance requests
- Knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment
- Basic understanding of the upkeep and care of equipment
- Understanding of cleaning compounds and chemicals, and their safe, efficient use
- CPR, AED, and First Aid certifications (completed within 30 days of hire)
- New Employee Orientation, Sexual Harassment, ALICE (Active Shooter), and Bloodborne Pathogens trainings (completed within 90 days of hire)
Desired Qualifications
- One year prior experience in custodial work preferred
- Excellent human relation skills and communication skills
