Job Summary
Grease Recovery Operator on 2nd shift (1pm-9:30pm) at a Wisconsin plant. Responsible for operating and monitoring two pre-treatment DAF systems to collect #2 grease from plant wastewater; managing melt tank and centrifuge equipment; safely loading semi-tankers with #2 grease (including climbing on tankers as needed); performing routine inspections and basic preventative maintenance; ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations; supporting wastewater processes and continuous improvement initiatives; requires mechanical aptitude and willingness to obtain wastewater certifications, with the ability to work in hot environments and handle physically demanding tasks; strong teamwork and adherence to safety protocols.
Required Qualifications
- Prior experience in industrial, mechanical, or wastewater operations preferred but not required
- Ability to work in hot environments and perform physically demanding tasks (climbing, lifting, etc.)
- Mechanical aptitude with willingness to learn and complete wastewater certifications
- Willingness to learn wastewater operations and grow within the role
- Flexibility to work 3rd shift schedule and overtime as needed
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
