Job Summary
Operate grease production by blending and packaging finished fluids, handle chemicals in the grease production area, transfer materials and perform batch calculations to determine tank contents. Follow SOPs, weigh and add raw materials for blending, and monitor/process data. Perform in-process quality checks, LOTO and safety procedures, maintain paperwork, inventory and cycle counts in SAP, and ensure proper packaging of products. Requires experience with chemical handling, batch operations, process controls (PLCs/DCS), forklift operation, and the ability to work 2nd shift in a hot, high-volume production environment. Strong English communication, math/numeracy skills, team collaboration, and adherence to safety/compliance expectations are essential.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years prior Chemical plant or similar experience handling chemicals and batch operations in chemical industrial environment required
- High School Diploma or Equivalence required
- Qualified forklift operator required
- Clear and comprehensive communication in English (written/verbal) required
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders and stairs, and stand for continuous periods of time with or without reasonable accommodation
- Must be minimum of 18 years of age
