Job Summary
Monitor traffic at the front door and patrol the parking lot and surrounding areas to ensure only authorized personnel enter and to maintain safety. Develop supportive relationships with guests using motivational interviewing strategies while responding to crises, disruptions, and medical emergencies. Provide behavioral management for a diverse population, including those with chemical dependency and mental health issues, and write timely incident or ban reports. Deliver services, resources, and information to guests, coordinate with volunteers and community partners for meals, and maintain facility health and safety by monitoring client rooms.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Must obtain Food Handler's card within first 3 months of employment
- Must have an acceptable driving record per CCS' driving policy
- Must have reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and automobile Insurance
- Applicant must successfully pass required background checks prior to an offer of employment
- Ability to provide a negative TB test
- Possess good verbal and written communication
