Job Summary
Monitor the property and surrounding areas for suspicious activity while completing patrols approximately every two hours. Maintain a visible security presence throughout the shift, assisting with access control and monitoring entrances, retail areas, and common zones. Respond calmly to incidents and provide professional customer service to tenants, visitors, and vendors. Complete detailed daily activity and incident reports while adhering to established post orders and emergency procedures. This graveyard shift covers Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM for a part-time schedule of 24 hours per week at a busy commercial property in Little Tokyo.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of four years of professional security experience
- Previous Class A high-rise or commercial building security experience
- Previous graveyard security experience
- Valid Guard Card
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Must be available for graveyard shifts (Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 11:00 PM–7:00 AM)
- Must be available for part-time schedule of 24 hours per week
- Must be comfortable working in a busy Downtown Los Angeles environment
- Must be able to patrol and remain on your feet for extended periods
- Must be dependable, punctual, professional, and able to work independently
