Job Summary
Graveyard Shift Class A line haul driver responsible for nightly 53' tractor-trailer deliveries, drop and hook operations, and compliance with FMCSA/DOT/TSA regulations. Requires CDL, clean DMV, 2+ years driving, ability to pass drug/tsa checks, and experience with weather driving and chaining; home daily with Mon-Fri schedule; benefits include vacation/sick/holiday, health/dental/vision, 401K, and paid training. Local routes in Northern California with emphasis on safety and accurate record-keeping (ELD, manifests, incident reports).
Required Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
- Minimum of two (2) years commercial driving experience
- Clean DMV record (no serious moving violations in the past 5 years)
- Valid DOT Medical Examination Card
- Ability to pass drug screen and TSA background check
- Knowledge of DOT, FMCSA, federal, state, and local traffic laws and regulations
- Hazardous materials (HAZMAT) certification preferred
- Experience driving in adverse weather conditions, mountains, and chaining installation
- Ability to communicate effectively in English; verbal and written
