Grassroots Marketing Intern

Job Summary
Research, book, and coordinate community events, festivals, and school functions to expand Miami FC's local presence. Manage Street Team staffing, organize promotional materials and activations, and track attendance metrics to evaluate marketing efforts. Collaborate with Marketing, Ticket Sales, and Community Relations departments to execute campaigns that drive fan engagement and match attendance. Complete additional projects as assigned while maintaining an event calendar. This unpaid internship offers college credit availability and flexible scheduling (10–20 hours/week) for students in marketing or related fields.
Required Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a college or university pursuing a degree in Marketing, Sports Management, Communications, Business, Event Management, Public Relations, or a related field
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Comfortable communicating with community organizations and event partners
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
- Must be available to work weekdays, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Desired Qualifications
- experience with Canva
- Reliable transportation
- Previous experience in event planning, customer service, marketing, or community outreach
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
- Knowledge of soccer and the South Florida community
