Job Summary
Operate rear-mounted grapple trucks and log loaders to pick up powerline poles, load trucks or rail cars, and remove debris at outdoor sites. Use a chainsaw and perform basic mechanical repairs like changing hydraulic hoses and greasing equipment. Complete daily paperwork and utilize smartphones, GPS, and electronic logging devices while adhering to all safety protocols. Work long hours, overtime, and weekends in various weather conditions with a Monday through Friday daytime schedule. Requires Class A or B CDL, valid driver's license, and ability to lift 25 to 50 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- hands-on experience operating a knuckle boom, log loader, or grapple
- Class A or B CDL

- Basic mechanical knowledge in order to make small repairs (change hydraulic hose, grease and lube, safety walk around inspection)
- Able to pass pre-employment drug test and random drug tests after hiring
- Hold valid driver's license, a CDL CLASS A or B is required
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- Able to work long hours, overtime, and possible weekends in various weather conditions
- Able to work long hours, in all weather conditions
