Job Summary
Operate rear-mounted grapple trucks and log loader booms to pick up powerline poles, load trucks or rail cars, remove debris, and use chainsaws in fast-paced environments. Perform daily site inspections, make small mechanical repairs such as changing hydraulic hoses, and complete all daily paperwork and safety procedures. Maintain equipment through regular walk-around checks while navigating uneven terrain and working in all weather conditions. Requires a valid Class A or B CDL, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and proficiency with GPS and electronic logging devices. Full-time Monday through Friday schedule with daytime hours, all lodging provided, and competitive hourly pay.
Required Qualifications
- hands-on experience operating a knuckle boom, log loader, or grapple
- Class A or B CDL
- valid driver's license
- CDL CLASS A or B
- Must be able to lift 25 pounds
- Hold valid driver's license, a CDL CLASS A or B is required
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- Able to pass pre-employment drug test and random drug tests after hiring
- Successful completion and passing a drug and alcohol test
- Verification of your right to work in the United States
- Satisfactory completion of a background investigation
Desired Qualifications
- Basic mechanical knowledge in order to make small repairs (change hydraulic hose, grease and lube, safety walk around inspection)
